Lee's Summit, where he developed a love for drawing and an appreciation for the
serenity of fishing. His creative spirit shone brightly in everything he did,
and his artistic talents were a source of joy not just for him but for those
lucky enough to witness his work. Fishing brought him peace and relaxation,
allowing him to connect with nature and spend quality time with his loved ones.
Dennis attended Butler High
School, later earning his GED. His dedication and perseverance were evident
throughout his life, particularly in his commitment to his family and
community. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he
learned discipline and resilience, values that he carried with him throughout

devoted himself to the construction business, working alongside his family. His
hands-on approach and strong work ethic made him a reliable and respected
worker, and he took pride in every project he undertook. He was a member of the
Freemasons, where he fostered friendships and community involvement, embodying
the principles of brotherhood and charity.
Dennis's life was a tapestry woven
with love, laughter, and compassion. He was known for his infectious smile and
a heart that welcomed everyone. His family and friends will remember him for
his unwavering support and the countless memories they shared. Whether it was
through moments of quiet reflection while fishing or the laughter shared around
the family table, Dennis brought joy and unity to those he loved.
Though he may no longer walk among us, his
spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dennis leaves behind a remarkable
legacy of love and connection that will endure through his surviving family. He
is survived by his cherished wife, Marilyn Anderson, whom he married in 2012;
his daughter, Avery Anderson; his grandparents, Kenneth and Lois Miller; and
his siblings, John Anderson III, Jordan Barr, Delbert Lewis, Michelle Anderson,
and Sarah Anderson. Each of these family members held a special place in
Dennis's heart, and he cherished the moments spent with them.
