Brian Walter Bicknell, 64 of Harrisonville, Missouri


 

Brian Walter Bicknell, 64 of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away March 6, 2025, at his home in Harrisonville, Missouri.  Cremation with private family services to be held.  Arrangements entrusted to Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel chapel (816-657-4400).  Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.

Brian Walter Bicknell was born September 19, 1960, in Independence, Missouri to Clark and Carolina Bicknell. The Bicknell family moved to Lisle, Missouri in November of 1963. Brian grew up in Lisle and graduated from Drexel in 1978.  He was united in marriage to Cheryl Snow, and they had two children. Brian started working at a Vending Company in Kansas City, Missouri when he was 17 years old and opened his own vending company- Treat Yourself Vending several years later. On April 27, 2001, Brian married the love of his life Cindy Bullard and settled down in Harrisonville, Missouri. In 2022 he decided to change direction in his career and opened a restaurant in Garden City, Missouri- Risky Business. Risky Business closed in 2023, and Brian went back to his vending career. Brian was hard-working and took great pride in the work he did. He knew no stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need, whether he knew them or not. He was a good husband, father, son, brother and friend to all that knew him. Brian was always working on home improvement jobs or rebuilding vending machines in his spare time.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Clark Bicknell, grandma Louesa Bicknell Dixson, grandpa Paul Bicknell, grandmother Margery Giles, and grandfather Alva Giles. He is survived by his wife Cindy Bicknell, his two loving dogs Alva & Bean of the home in Harrisonville, Mo., mother Carolina Bicknell of Calhoun, MO., son Eric Bicknell and wife Kim of Urich, MO., daughter Trista Schuster and husband Mike of Lee’s Summit, MO., brother Shelby Bicknell of Calhoun, MO., brother Michael Bicknell & significant other Linda of Alma, MO., sister Lisa Loe and husband Rusty of Drexel, MO. Grandchildren Bryce, Kenedy, Reagan, Madison, Adilynn, and Aislyn and numerous nieces and nephews.
