CASS COUNTY, Mo. -- A woman is dead and her juvenile passenger seriously injured after a one vehicle crash Wednesday, October 18, in Cass County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, Shelly L. Merrick, 54, of Adrian ran off the right side of southbound Interstate 49 near East 307th Street, and overturned.
Merrick was pronounced at the scene and her 15 year old male passenger was airlifted to Children's Mercy Hospital for treatment.
