Bates County Resurfacing begins

 

Bates County Routes Y, AA, E & D Scheduled for Resurfacing Beginning the Week of Oct. 23

Bates County – Drivers can expect lane closures and occasional traffic delays on Bates County routes Y, AA, E and D for a resurfacing project beginning the week of October 23, the Missouri Department of Transportation said. This is the work being done on this project: Route Y Segment 1 from Missouri Route 52 north approximately 6 miles to Bates County Route J near Amsterdam Segment 2 from Missouri Route 18 west approximately 1.4 miles to Missouri/Kansas state line near Merwin Route AA from I-49 west approximately 14 miles to Route 18 southwest of Drexel Route E from I-49 east approximately 3.6 miles to end of state maintenance north of Adrian Route D from Business Loop 49 (Park Street) in Passaic east approximately 12 miles to Bates County Route BB Contractor crews will add an overlay of new asphalt to the above routes along with new permanent striping.
