On Friday, April 10, 2026 just before 2 p.m. Cass County deputies were dispatched to the area of 215th and Watts Rd east of CC Highway in Pleasant Hill, regarding a man who said his vehicle had been swept up in flood waters and he was unable to get out.
A deputy
located the man downstream and assisted him. The deputy led him to be evaluated
by paramedics.

Hill Fire Department, South Metro Fire Protection District and Missouri State
Highway Patrol assisted with this incident.
