On 03/09/26, just after 5:15 a.m., a Cass County deputy attempted to stop a vehicle that had been reported stolen to the Harrisonville Police Department, near the area of Interstate 49 and Missouri Route 291.
A pursuit ensued after the driver failed to
yield to the deputy’s emergency equipment.
The pursuit ended in a single-vehicle crash
near Peculiar Way.
Two suspects were taken into custody on scene
and a third was arrested after fleeing on foot for a short time.
All three occupants of the vehicle are
juveniles and their identities will not be released.
All three were taken to area hospitals for
precautionary reasons.
Charges in this case will be referred to the
Cass County Juvenile Division.
