Monday night, February 9th, Nevada Police officers were called to investigate a possible burglary attempt at a business.
Officers arrived on the scene and located a subject on the
property. Upon further investigation, it
was discovered that the subject was in possession of tools and had attempted to
make entry into two businesses.
Nevada Officers were able to take the subject into custody.
During their investigation, they also discovered the subject was wanted out of
Kansas for similar offenses and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
The subject is now being held in the Vernon County Jail. The
investigation will be submitted to the Vernon County Prosecutor's Office for
review of formal charges.
