George Rives, age 80
of Peculiar passed away on Thursday, November 20th at Overland Park
Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 25 t the
Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel. Visitation prior to services from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday
at the Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Contributions to

George is survived by his wife, Linda Rives of Peculiar; one
daughter, Kathy Todtenhausen and special friend Jerry of Kansas City; one son,
Jeff Rives and wife Ashely of Pleasant Hill; Four grandchildren; one brother,
Wayne “Luke” Rives and wife Sally of Butler, and Numerous nieces and nephews.
