The Vernon County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce that
Jeanne Buehler and Franklin her K9 sidekick
have successfully obtained their certification as a human remains /
cadaver dog team. Jeanne and Franklin have worked for approximately 2 years to
obtain this certification. All of Franklin's training and certifications along
with Jeanne's handling abilities are solely volunteer.
The hope of the Vernon County Sheriff is to never have to
use this tool but have it in their tool box when they need it. Franklin and
Jeanne are part of MOSAR" Missouri Search and Rescue" out of the
Kansas City area and are dispatched all over to perform this task when needs
be. K-9 Franklin is also a certified first responder therapy dog among his many
accolades.
The Sheriff took the time to give a shout out to Jeanne for
all of her hard work, dedication, and volunteer hours to achieve these
accomplishments.
