When deputies arrived, the suspect wouldn’t answer the front door of the home.
As a result, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team was activated, and served a search warrant.
The TRT breached the front door and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
He’s been identified as 43-year-old Ronald Tallen of Pleasant Hill.
Tallen is charged with 2nd-Degree Domestic Assault, which is a Class D Felony.
He’s currently at the Cass County Jail with a $25,000 cash-only bond.
This operation required the closure of 58 Hwy for a short time.
