Bates County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) is calling on the community to roll up their sleeves and help save lives at the upcoming Spring Blood Drive, hosted in partnership with Community Blood Center (CBC). The drive will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 12:00 – 4:00 PM at the BCMH Education Center.
CBC is the primary blood supplier for BCMH and serves
the greater Kansas City region, ensuring that local hospitals have the lifesaving
blood they need. Blood donations are critical for trauma patients, surgeries,
cancer treatments, and emergency care. One donation can help save up to three
lives!
"We rely on blood donors to keep our hospital and
community prepared for emergencies," said Joani Boleyn, MLS (ASCP)CM,
Laboratory Director at BCMH and blood drive co-coordinator. "Your donation
could make all the difference for a neighbor, friend, or loved one in
need."
