A Blast From The Past
Some of you may remember 30 years ago, that there was a Mobile DJ
business in Bates County started by Mark Disselhoff of Adrain, Mo. (Some may
remember him as “Mark the Big Guy” from his years with FM92 Radio Station ). M/C Music, as it is was called, was hired to
do many of the local school dances, weddings, private parties, and
self-promoted dances at the fairgrounds. The small business, easily spotted
with their well known bright pink shirts and black cowboy hats, was ran by
Disselhoff and several of his close friends. One of those friends being Clayton
Wolford, also from Adrian. The DJ business was very active in the area for
several years.
Well, the good news is, M/C Music is back! Unfortunately
Disselhoff passed away in December of last year, so head DJ position has been
passed on to Wolford. M/C Music has newer, updated equipment and now offers
Karaoke! There will also be a new face, Wolford will be joined by his son
Tanner Wolford.
In early August of this year, there was a small reunion for the
former members and friends of M/C Music, as well as a small Memorial for
Mark Disselhoff. It was also a debut for the new and improved M/C Music. Their
performance was top notch, as always!
Clayton and his son are ready to provide the entertainment for
your next function! For rates and scheduling call Clayton at 660-464-4992!
