Harrisonville Police Officers Promoted

During Monday’s Board of Aldermen meeting the Harrisonville Police Department was able to celebrate a pair of exciting promotions!

Officer Peter Sumner was recently promoted to the rank of Detective. He had his new badge “pinned” by his girlfriend Brianna.

Corporal Tim Mikelson was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was pinned by his father John.

We are so grateful to have the dedication and leadership of Detective Sumner and Sergeant Mikelson. They will play an important role in the future of our department.
