On the evening of August 5th , after 9PM the Bates County Coroner was called to a residence on SW 2518 near Worland in SW Bates County.
Concerned individuals had not heard from two people known to
live at this residence for a period of time and came to the residence.
Inside the home, two individual human remains were discovered.
Although it is believed to be the known occupants of the home, an extensive
forensic investigation is underway to confirm identity and determine cause and
manner of death.
These situations call for resources and training but most
importantly, people. Greg Mullinax stated “ I am deeply appreciative to Rich Hill Fire for
responding to assist at my request - and also to Bates County Sheriff's Office
for their time and assistance”.
The Bates County Coroner will release information as it is
definitively confirmed.
