On Thursday,
April 18th, the Bates County Sheriff’s office pursued 2 subjects who
fled from a traffic stop on a 4 wheeler. The subjects abandoned the 4 wheeler
in the area of 1001 and AA highway northwest of Adrian. The subjects then ditched
their helmets and some of their outer layers of clothing as they fled. Bates
County deputies do not have a clothing or subject description and the 2 are
still at large at this time. The Bates County Sheriff’s office will update the
community concerning this case as information becomes available. If you have
