April 11, 2024 regular yearly bussiness meeting of the Papinville Historical and Cementery Association was held at the Meseum. Nineteen were present and yearly membership dues were paid by those present.  After regular bussiness was reported and approved the group went over the by-laws for the organization.  These had not been up-dated since 2001.  After several changes the membership approved the revised by-laws.

There was election of officers and Trustees by ballott.  Those elected were as follows:   President--Trent Nelson, Vice-President--Rock Marquardt, Secretary Carey Klinksick, Treasurer--Ariel Tiller,Trustees--John Coffman, Bob Swarnes, John Stewart and Forrest Tiller. Appointed -positions are Gail Tiller--activity director and Beverly Sullins--correspondent secretary. Thanks to all out going officers and best of luck to those in coming officers.

Our expansion project was discussed in great length.  It was voted to move slowly forward with this.  We have a seperate account set up for this and will be added to. The first event to bennifit the expansion will be a 5 K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, June 8th. Sign-up forms will be available at Citizens Banks in Rich Hill and Butler and on Papinville Historical facebook page after April 24th.  Will keep everyone up-dated as plans progress.
