Judy Fay (Parsons) Piepmeier, age 72 of Appleton City

Judy Fay (Parsons) Piepmeier was born on October 11, 1951 to John Sr. and Mary Geneva Fay (Knight) Parsons. She passed away peacefully at her home in Appleton City, Missouri, on March 31, 2024.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Hill and Son Funeral Home, Appleton City, MO.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hill and Son Funeral Home, Appleton City, MO.

Internment with private family services will be at the Appleton City Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Pleasant Gap Church or Giving for Living.

Judy was a 1969 graduate of Appleton City High School. After completing her education, she attended Revels School of Beauty. During this time, she married her high school sweetheart, Terry Dean Piepmeier, on July 5, 1970, her husband of 54 years. To this union three children were born: Kevin, Krista, and Kyle.

Judy worked for Pat Elder fixing hair in Appleton City and Montrose for 30 years until constructing her shop at her home. Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend with a great sense of humor and warm smile. She will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John Sr. and Mary Geniva Fay (Knight) Parsons; her mother and father-in-law; and one sister-in-law, Katherin Parsons.

Judy is survived by her 3 children: Kevin (Nikki) Piepmeier, Krista (Deonne) Marshall, and Kyle (Kristi) Piepmeier; 2 brothers: Johnny Parsons Jr and Vernon (Carol) Parsons; 1 brother-in-law, James Piepmeier and 1 sister-in-law, Teresa Piepmeier; grandchildren: Tyler (Allie) Piepmeier, Cole Piepmeier, Ryan and Rylea Marshall, Katelyn and Keith Piepmeier; and one great- grandson, Ridge Dean (arriving in the coming months); along with many extended family and dear friends.
