The Bates County Elks Lodge is turning 40 years old this year. As a thank you to the community that has supported them through 4 decades, The Elks will be hosting the event of the summer.
The public is invited
to a Car Show on August 26th. Classes include Hot Rod, Rat Rod,
Bikes, Muscle Cars, and Stock Car-Race Cars.
The day will consist of
registration between 10 am and 1 pm on August 26th.
Door prizes, music, a
50/50 pot, and food. There will be Koozies and T-Shirts for sale and the Corn
Hole Tournament starts at 2 pm.
Kids can decorate their
rides and a movie-themed costume contest will be held and the band hits the stage at 6 pm.
This fundraiser is a
thank you to the community for their continued support of the Bates County
Elks.
Admission is a
