My name is Dee, and I’m helping organize Rockin’ for Brandi, a community fundraiser being held Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Raymore, Missouri, for my friend Brandi Ortega Lopez, who is battling Glioblastoma.
Brandi specifically asked me to reach out to the Butler community because Butler holds a special connection for her. She was born in Butler and spent her early childhood there before her family moved away.
Today, Brandi lives in Raymore, where her friends, family, and community are coming together to support her as she continues her fight against Glioblastoma.
Rockin’ for Brandi begins with a Free Family Fun Fest & Car Show from 12–6 PM, open to the public, followed by our ticketed Rockabilly Dinner & Dance Fundraiser from 6–11 PM featuring dinner, live music and dancing, contests, auctions, and more.
Funds raised will help Brandi with expenses related to the treatment options she is pursuing.
