Pursuit And Arrest In Cass County

On Tuesday, June 30th, at approximately 1:15 p.m., deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office were advised of a vehicle pursuit involving the Missouri State Highway Patrol heading southbound on I-49 near Peculiar.

A deputy joined the pursuit near Cantrell Rd. in Harrisonville.

The pursuit continued and eventually went northbound to Belton where deputies assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol in taking the subject into custody at a dead end near Oakland Ave. and 165th St.

The driver has been identified as 26-year-old Tiffany McCurdy of Kansas City.

McCurdy has been charged with Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention (D Felony).

She’s currently at the Cass County jail with a $50,000 cash only bond.
