A teenager injured in a shooting last week has been released from a Kansas City-area hospital and continues to recover at home. The Pleasant Hill Police Department said 16-year-old Ayden was injured in the shooting while working at the Pleasant Hill grocery store where the crime happened.
Investigators
said the man suspected in the shooting was also released from a hospital
yesterday. Investigators said he turned the gun on himself as people tried to
detain him. Allen T. Price is held in the Cass County Jail without bond. He is
scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.
Price is
charged with first-degree murder and harassment in connection with the
shooting. Investigators identified 45-year-old Amy Coon of Strasburg as the
woman killed in the shooting.
