Charles Klick, 96 of Drexel, Missouri passed away Monday, May 18, 2026 at his home in Drexel. Cremation, with family graveside services to be held in Shawnee, Kansas at a later date. Charles “Chuck or Charlie” Laverne Klick was born November 15,
1929 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of Charles and Mildred Irish Klick. He was united in marriage to Dorothy “Dot”
Coudriet on July 6, 1949. Together they
raised a family that has now grown to grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and
even great-great-grandchildren.
Charles had a long and successful career spanning 43 years
working as an accountant for the Hammermill Paper Company. After retirement he enjoyed Royals games and
anything sports, but his greatest love was found in his family.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy
Klick, son Stephen L. Klick, and grandson Anthony “Tony” Craig Klick. He is survived by two sons, Michael S. Klick
of Belton, MO., Jeffrey Alan Klick of Drexel, MO., a brother William J. Klick
of Buffalo, NY., along with eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 10
great-great-grandchildren.
