A Cass County road was blocked Tuesday morning, April 28th, 2026 after a train struck a semitruck. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said troopers were called to the area of 187th Street east of Route D in response to the crash. Preliminary investigation indicated the semitruck got stuck on the tracks before it was hit. No injuries were reported. The Belton Fire Department also responded to help.
