The Bates County Elks present a kids BBQ Contest on Friday, May 8th. All the fun starts at 5:30 . The kids BBQ competition is free for ages 11 to 15, parent or legal guardian will need to sign a waiver. Child will prep, cook and turn in a steak… competition style to be officially judged during the May 8th Bates County Elks Kids BBQ contest.. Grills and Steak will be provided for the young adults.
