Bettelue “Bets” Powell, age 87 of Butler

 From the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel and Crematory . . . Bettelue “Bets” Powell, age 87 of Butler died Monday, April 6 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 10 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel. No visitation. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Children’s Center–Butler. Online condolences www.schowengerdtchapel.com Bettelue is survived by one son, Brad Powell and wife Debbie of Butler; one daughter, Kenette Lindsay and husband Dennis of Florida; one granddaughter, Stormy Lindsay and fiancé Colton Bradley; one sister, Sue Rebold of Butler; and aunt, Shirley Hayward.
