May is National Beef Month and the Bates County Cattlemen are kicking it off right with their first cookout of the year Saturday, May 2nd! It’s going to be a very busy day in Butler so when your tummy starts rumbling for something good, head to the Family Center Parking lot to re-fuel with a fresh grilled hamburger, chips and a water and it’s all for a free will donation. They’ll be there at 11am and will cook until the food is gone. That’s the Bates County Cattlemen’s cookout at Family Center parking lot, Saturday May 2nd beginning at 11am.
