Congratulations to the teens who completed AHA Heartsaver classes at BCMH today. Four teens learned lifesaving CPR skills, and in the afternoon they completed a First Aid class.
These courses teach critical skills that can help someone respond in an emergency. Upon successful completion, participants receive an official certification card from the American Heart Association. These skills are valuable to keep fresh and are required for some occupations.
Classes were led by AHA-certified instructor Bev Munsterman, EMT-P. Thank you to Gayle Warden, BCMH education coordinator, for organizing these classes for our community. Watch our Facebook page for information on upcoming classes.
