95 mph Pursuit Ends Without Serious Incident In Henry County

At approximately 11:15 a.m., Thursday, March 4th, the Lowry City Police Department initiated a pursuit after a driver refused to stop. The vehicle fled northbound into Henry County, reaching speeds of approximately 95 mph.

Before the pursuit approached the busy intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 7, deputies with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, alongside a trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, quickly coordinated a plan to prevent the fleeing vehicle from entering the intersection and endangering motorists.

The suspect was transported to the St. Clair County Jail, where the original charges related to the pursuit were initiated by the Lowry City Police.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, Clinton Missouri Police Department, and, the Henry County Sheriff's Office all assisted with this incident.
