At around 11:30 pm Monday night, January 26th, 2026, one person succumbed to injuries following a shooting on Dove Lane in south Butler. A 53 year old female was pronounced dead at the scene. While it appears the shooting was accidental, the investigation is ongoing and updates will be posted as information becomes available.
