On January 11th at 13:57, the Rich Hill Fire Department (RHFD) was dispatched to a grass fire endangering a structure approximately 7 miles northwest of Rich Hill. RHFD requested that Butler Fire Department stand by at the Rich Hill Fire station until our units could return to the city. At 14:14, while Butler Fire was en route to the station, they encountered and responded to a vehicle fire in the southbound lanes of I-49 at mile marker 123.
