UPDATE To A Pursuit And Arrest On October 6, 2025 In Harrisonville

In an update to an event that occurred in Harrisonville back on October 6th in which the Harrisonville Police Department received a call about a car being stolen on the south end of town, Officers quickly located the vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The driver of the stolen car eventually crashed, and the two occupants were arrested. A third occupant had exited the vehicle during the pursuit and was also arrested. Located inside the stolen vehicle was a stolen firearm from a different vehicle in the area. All three people who were arrested were local juveniles, so their identity cannot be released.

At this point in the investigation, the Harrisonville police department believes this group is responsible for the recent thefts that have occurred from vehicles in the neighborhoods near South Street and Independence Street in Harrisonville. However, some of those thefts were not caught on video and had no witnesses so there may still be other people involved. The Harrisonville police reminds the public to remain vigilant about locking your cars, keeping them in a safe place, and securing your valuables.
