Konnie Stranik, age 82 of Butler

Konnie Stranik, 82 of Butler, Missouri passed away October 28, 2025 at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas.  Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in Virginia Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.  No visitation is scheduled.  Services under the direction of Mullinax Funeral Home Butler (660-679-0009).  Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.

 Konnie Ann Kruse Stranik was born July 4, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska to Darold and Dolores Reiter Kruse.

When Konnie was young, her family lived in San Diego, California, then in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before settling down in Lincoln, Nebraska.  She attended Lincoln Northeast High School.

In 1960 Konnie married John Martin and to this union three daughters were born.  Konnie worked for 35 years at the Lincoln General Hospital in the Physical Therapy Department before retirement.  All while she owned and operated her own cleaning company.

Konnie was a very loving person and proud of her three children and their families.  She also had a great love for her two Dachshunds, Annie and Toby.  In her free time, she enjoyed baking, planting flowers, traveling, and shopping.

 

Konnie was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her sister Kathie Ninneman and husband David of Denton, NE., three daughters, Kimberly Coffin and husband Jeff of Lincoln, NE., Patricia Hunzeker and Husband James Bemrose of David City, NE., and Trudie Morse and husband Calvin James of Butler, MO., three grandchildren, Katherine Coffin of Lincoln, NE., David A. Morse and wife Dee of Gardner, KS., and Makiah M. James and girlfriend Daesie Dennis of Butler, MO., two great-grandchildren, Clavin and Alice Morse of Gardner, KS., along with many cousins from Sioux Falls, SD., California, and Waterloo, IA
