Alvin Troyer 45, is facing two counts of First Degree Molestation, (Felony A) and one count Child Molestation, Second Degree, (Felony B) following alleged incidents that occurred on or around July 5, 2025 in rural northern Vernon county.
Court documents state that Troyer had inappropriate relations with two victims, ages 13 and 15. Upon learning of the allegations, Troyer was removed from the Amish (Old School Mennonite) community located southwest of Rich Hill.
At present, Troyer is being held in the Vernon county jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.
If fully convicted, he could serve life in prison.
