On Tuesday,
May 13, 2025, the Vernon County sheriff's office along with Nevada Police
department we're able to take into custody an individual with a felony warrant.
Upon
entering the subject's property, the individual was barricaded in his house
after a brief standoff we were able to take the subject into custody for his
felony warrant. No officers were hurt during the standoff.
The subject taken into custody was Brian Pearce of Nevada. Mr. Pearce was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and 3 counts kidnapping 3rd degree. Bond was set at $150,000.00 cash only.
