On December 31, 2024, Teresa Shobe retired after nearly a
decade of dedicated service to Bates County Memorial Hospital. Over the course
of her 9 years, 6 months, and 14 days with BCMH, Teresa made an indelible mark
in the housekeeping department, where she served with excellence and a constant
positive attitude.
Known for her bright smile and infectious, fun-loving
spirit, Teresa’s presence will be deeply missed by everyone here at BCMH. She
brought cheer to everyone she encountered, leaving behind a legacy of kindness
and hard work.
In retirement, Teresa is excited to dedicate more time to
her favorite hobbies, including traveling with friends, painting (one of her pieces is proudly displayed at
High Street Family Care Clinic) and spiritual dance at Butler Presbyterian
Church. She is also looking forward to spending more time with her beloved
grandchildren.
On her final day, Teresa was presented with a bouquet of
roses and lilies in appreciation for her years of service. We wish Teresa all
the best in her retirement and thank her for her unwavering commitment to our
team and our community.
Thank you, Teresa, for your hard work and the joy you
brought to BCMH!
