The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Saturday, December 7th
An 18-year-old male passenger from Archie was pronounced dead at the Cass Regional Medical Center on Saturday, December 7th.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:29 p.m. when
an eastbound 2015 Kia driven by a 17-year-old juvenile from Archie crossed the
center line of the roadway, traveled off the west side, and overturned. Both the
driver and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver a 17-year-old male from Archie was transported
by Life Flight to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
A third passenger a 18-year-old male sustained minor injuries and was
transported by private vehicle to Belton Regional Medical Center for Treatment.
Due to the recent change in how the Missouri State
Highway Patrol reports accidents the media may no longer receive or use the
names of those involved in crashes.
