Elva Hill, age 72 of Butler

 Elva Hill, 72 of Butler, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Medicalodege of Butler in Butler, Missouri.  A visitation will be held 9:30 am to 10:30 am Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009).  Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am Saturday, also at the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler.  Memorial contributions may be made in Elva’s memory to the Church of Christ, 612 E. Elva Maxine Hill was born May 30, 1952 in Harlan, Iowa to Richard and Olive Kuntzweiler Edwards.  She graduated from Council Bluff High School and attended Bible College in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska.

Elva was united in marriage to Carl Hill, Sr. on December 11, 1976.  To this union two sons were born, Carl Hill, Jr. and Richard Hill.

Elva cared deeply for her Lord and Savior and was active member of the Church of Christ until her health no longer permitted.  Her beautiful smile and spirit will be forever missed.

Elva was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother William Edwards.  She is survived by her sons, Carl Hill, Jr. and Richard Hill, along with her sisters, Blanche Pinson, and Lois Sapp, and her brother Leslie Edwards.
