On Friday night, October 11th, around 11:15 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Highway 13 south of NW 950th Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred
when the north bound 2008 Ford Taurus driven by 39 year old Michael F. Smith of
Clinton, Missouri traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment, a fence, and
a utility pole, before overturning.
Mr. Smith was pronounced deceased at the scene and was
transported to the Bradley Hadley Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
