Bates County Memorial Awareness Program

This October, dedicated employees at Bates County Memorial Hospital (BCMH) are coming together to support a vital cause: the BCMH Cares Mammogram Fund, which provides essential services for uninsured and underinsured patients. To raise funds and awareness, employees will be engaging in a series of exciting fundraising activities throughout the month.

Community members can join the effort by participating in the 50/50 Raffle, with tickets available for purchase at our Gift Shop. Tickets are priced at $5 each or five for $20, offering a chance to win while contributing to a life-saving initiative.

In addition, our staff will show their support through fun-themed activities, including:

·       Pink & Jeans Days: Employees will don jeans on designated days, contributing to the cause while promoting awareness and solidarity.

·       Flamingo Flocking: Throughout October, staff members will have the opportunity to surprise each other with pink flamingos, a fun way to raise funds and encourage participation.

Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer, and every contribution helps us make a difference in our community. We thank everyone for their support and for helping us spread awareness about this important cause.

Additionally, BCMH is proud to announce its three-year accreditation in mammography from the American College of Radiology (ACR). This honor reflects the highest standards of image quality and patient safety, awarded after a thorough review by expert professionals. Mammography is essential for the early detection of breast diseases, highlighting the importance of our fundraising efforts to ensure access for uninsured and underinsured patients.
