Larry Burch Butler High School Graduate sponsors the following information for the 2024 Butler Homecoming events and alumni activities. Larry Burch of Burch and Liles Insurance of Butler.
The Butler Bears Homecoming Game day will be Friday
October 11th. The Butler Bears will play against the Warsaw Wildcats
on home turf at 7 pm.
Homecoming Weekend has been designated as the date to
celebrate Butler High School Alumni.
The Homecoming Parade entrants will meet at the Bates
County Fairgrounds and then travel to the Butler Square for the traditional
Butler Bears Homecoming Parade, those with floats or who wants to participate
need to meet at the Bates County Fairgrounds at 1:30. The Parade will reach the
Butler Square at approximately 2:00.
Tailgating will follow the parade for Alumni Classes.
Parking slots will be reserved for individual alumni classes around the
perimeter of the “Old” Butler Football Field. Bring your own refreshments and

The parade is followed by the Homecoming Game at 7 pm
at the Butler Sports Complex.
On Saturday evening Butler Alumni Association will host
an Alumni Dance to be held at the Bates County Fair Building on October 12th
. Social hour is from 6 pm until 8 pm. The Butler Alumni dance will be held
from 8 pm until midnight on October 12th. There is a $5.00 per
person cover charge with Mike Kershner on the Mic as the evening DJ.
