Sandra Kaye Yelton, 66, of Butler, Missouri passed from this life into the loving arms of our heavenly father on June 18, 2024.  She was born April 10, 1958 in Odessa, Missouri the daughter of John Tom Faulkenberry, Melba Mae Faulkenberry, and Linda Lou Faulkenberry.

Sandra was a 1976 graduate of Pleasant Hill High School. When she graduated she went straight into the workforce working for the Division of Family Services as a secretary.  In 1980 Sandra started a family beginning with the birth of her daughter Heather Lynn, next came William (Billy) Douglas, and finally rounding out the family Brian Scott.  After the children came, Sandra became a stay at home mom.  Later in life she worked at Norm’s Jewelry Store, BTM, The Alley Bar, and most recently retired from Russell Stover’s Candy.  Sandy (as she was lovingly called) was always a hit with kids and adults alike at family reunions when she brought out her “candy box” or boxes on many occasions.

Sandra had many loves and passions.  She loved using her beautiful voice to sing with her family, listening to music, snow, holidays, the Kansas City Chiefs and her animals Pax, Shadow and Copper.  Sandra’s other love was push mowing and maintaining her beautiful lawn. Her biggest passion was her grandchildren.  You could always find her cheering them on whether they were at a ballpark, on a court, on a stage, or any other big or little milestone, she was there for them all.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Heather Agnew (Ryan); her two sons, Billy Yelton (Dawn), and Brian Yelton; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Jeremiah, Hayleigh, Logan, Adrianna, Landin and Gavin; her mother, Linda Faulkenberry; three brothers, Tommie Faulkenberry (Lisa), Terry Faulkenberry (Taylene) and Stephen Brisbin;, six sisters, Brenda Howard, Nancy Hurtt (David), Doreen Green (Ty), Stephanie Wolfe (Rick),  Julia Morris, and Lisa Faulkenberry; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Melba Mae Faulkenberry; her father, John Tom Faulkenberry; her brother, Ronnie Faulkenberry; and her brothers-in-law, Rutheford Howard, Carl Bowers, and David Morris.
