Aerial Myrtle Named June Employee of the Month at Bates County Memorial Hospital
Bates County Memorial Hospital (BCMH)
recognizes Aerial Myrtle as the Employee of the Month for June. Aerial is a
Patient Accounts Specialist in the Patient Accounts Department. Aerial was
hired as a Patient Accounts Representative in June 2016, and she now serves as
the team lead. In her role she oversees the daily operations within the Patient
Accounts department, working closely with the Patient Accounts Director to provide
leadership and serving as the first in line for staff questions.
“She is a valuable member of the BCMH team and helps behind
the scenes in a manner that never expects recognition for the important work
that she does here,” her nominator wrote. “Aerial demonstrates excellence in
customer service to all customers including her peers in her department,
coworkers and managers throughout the BCMH organization, volunteers at BCMH,
vendors providing services to her department, and visitors in the hospital. It’s
not unusual to see her manager or an executive including her in discussions
about process improvements because her input is valuable and well thought out.
Her demeanor is kind, patient and encouraging. She shows respect and courtesy
to everyone she encounters and is supportive as others learn things she is
responsible for teaching. She leads by quiet example and integrity when it
comes to responding professionally in difficult situations. She’s one of the
reasons people like their jobs and think BCMH is a great place to work.”
Aerial is an excellent employee, and she deserves this
recognition.
