Bates County Parade Information

The 2024 Bates County Fair marks the 52nd year and going strong. The Bates County Fair Parade kicks off the week-long schedule of events and activities with the traditional parade followed by the Bash to be held at the Bates County Fairgrounds.  The dates and times of events may be found on the

Bates County Fair Facebook page.  On Tuesday evening July 9^th , the Parade hits the Butler Square at 5:00 pm, followed by the Bash on the Fairgrounds, great food booths, drinks, and desserts. This year Douty’s Firework Stand will provide a Fireworks display for those attending the Bash, the display should hit the air at approximately 9:15.

Bring a lawn chair and stay for the 4H Fashion Revue scheduled for 6:30, the Harley Harvey Memorial Pee Wee Livestock Show at 7:00 followed by a youth dance sponsored by the Jr. Livestock committee, the dance starts at approximately 8:00 pm.

If you would like to participate in the Parade, sign up at the Bates County Fairgrounds by 4:15  pm prior to leaving for the square.  That’s the Bates County Fair Parade, Bash, Pee Wee Livestock
Show, and the Bates County Fair Youth Dance on Tuesday, July 9^th. The Bates County Fair runs from July 8^th through July 12^th.
