On May 14th, 2024 at approximately 4:45 AM, Joseph L. Bittner was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation in the area of Village Drive on MM highway, Warsaw. Sergeant Wilson deployed K9 Rydor who alerted to Bittner’s vehicle, indicating that the odor of an illegal substance was present. After a search of the interior, over 45 grams of methamphetamine, 60 grams of shrooms, $2,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia were recovered. Bittner is being held in the Benton County Jail on a $75,000 surety bond for Trafficking Drugs 2nd which is a class C felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance which is a class D felony.
