Frances “Granny” Josephine Light, age 87 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Medicalodge of Butler, Missouri. She was born February 4, 1937 to Stanley and Paula Schultz Spayhowa in Chinook, Montana.
Frances is survived by a son, Donald Light and wife Lynn of Urich, Missouri; a daughter, Donna Light of Chetopa, Kansas; five grandchildren, Jami Chastain, Danny Chastain, Stephani Parker, Darlene Light and Jake Light; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William R. “Bill” Light on October 16, 1992; her son, Danny Light on May 16, 2003; a daughter, Dianna Cumpton on March 13, 2020; and two grandsons.
