Adrian Optimist Student of the Month Brennah Filtingberger

The Adrian Optimist Club is pleased to honor Students of the Month from the Miami, Ballard, and Adrian schools.  Criteria for this honor center on outstanding academic and civic achievement and school spirit.  Staff at each of the schools make the selection, and their decision is based on expansion of these criteria.   Selection is based on the criteria, but a student stepping up to a particular task will come to play in it.  Each student is honored with a certificate of recognition from the Adrian Optimist Club and $20.00 in Adrian Chamber of Commerce “Chamber Bucks.”

April Student of the Month for Miami is junior Brennah Filtingberger.  She is the daughter of Rob and Lisa Filtingberger   Brennah’s activities in school include volleyball, NHS, FFA and A+ program while her outside activities include club volleyball and after school tutoring.  She believes, “That Time Flies.”  She plans to attend MCC and play volleyball.

School staff states that the reason for selection is Brennah is the student we are proud to have represent Miami.  She is a top student in her class, in National Honor Society, involved in extracurricular activities, and willing to step up and help students.  She tutors elementary students after school.  She is kind, helpful, and respectful to staff and peers.  A true Miami Eagle representative
