Cass County Sheriff’s Office Holds Touch-A-Truck Event
We held our Touch-a-Truck event combined with a hiring fair this afternoon at the Cass
County Sheriff’s Office in Harrisonville.
Around 275 people showed up — getting a close look at the vehicles our Office has at its
disposal.
Kids enjoyed a bouncy house, scavenger hunt and coloring pages. All of them also received
a bag of goodies as they exited.
Adults also got the chance to take a pre-employment test, for a chance to potentially start a
career at the Sheriff’s Office.
Everyone was also offered free food at this event.
“It was great community fun for the family. We appreciate the opportunity to share our staff,
resources and capabilities. We had over 20 specialized units that do so much for our community
on display. I’m proud of the men and women of the Cass County Sheriffs Office who do so much
every day to keep Cass County safe.
