Adrian Celebrates Small Business Week

April 29th - May 4th is National Small Business Week. During this week, we are encouraging the public to shop all the local businesses. The theme is "Tour De Adrian" where we will hand out passports and the objective is to go around and earn a stamp from every business listed on the passport throughout the week. Anyone who completes their passport will be entered into drawings for giveaways donated by businesses and folks around Adrian. If you do not have a business open to the public but would like to donate, please drop your items off at Adrian Bank by Friday April 26th so they can set up a display to show off all the giveaways items. This will encourage consumers to complete their passports! Those who will be open during this time, I encourage you to display your giveaways in your business and we will also be sharing what you are doing that week on a group post on social media through the chamber. The more we share, the more we can support each other!

Those who will be open that week and want your info listed as a stop on the passport....
Please text the business name as you want it listed, along with the physical address and hours for that week to Jennifer @ 816-721-5477 so I can put the passports together. If I could have this info sent to me by Friday April 19th would be great. We will be sharing more info when we get closer as to what the businesses will be doing as far as "stamping" customers' passports and we will also be leaving passports with businesses to hand out to customers.

This is going to be a GREAT WEEK!! Any events, special deals, promos, etc. please share! This is a time to come together and support each other! And the more going on in our community, the better!

I have said it before and I will say it again... small businesses are not a competitor. They are simply a fellow business owner.
Our competition resides outside of this community!

Thank you everyone! God bless!
