On February 13, 2024, at approximately 8:00am, a search warrant was served at 600 W. 15th Street lot #39 in Pleasanton, Kansas. The warrant came after a lengthy investigation into a case where it is alleged that a subject was involved in a Child Pornography scheme.
The warrant was executed by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office and Pleasanton Police Department. The investigation into the matter has been ongoing for the past few months and enough cause was established to obtain the warrant. During the search of the home suspected narcotics were found within. A secondary warrant was sought for the seizure of the suspected narcotics.
A 63-year-old male has been arrested in the case. The subject is currently detained in the Linn County Jail, awaiting formal charges.
This case was developed through cooperation with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program (ICAC). Linn County Sheriff’s Detectives are an integral part of this program and serve as affiliates and task force members of the program, these relationships make cases like this possible.
