Jerry Lee Woolsey, the son of Earl and Ruby Admire Woolsey was born on March 10, 1950 in Niangua, Missouri.  At a young age Jerry was saved, and baptized and was currently a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon, MO.  He graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1969.  On June 27, 1970 Jerry married the love of his life, Kathy Crisp, and they were blessed to spend the next 53 years together. To this union two daughters, Jesica Lynne and Amanda Marie, were born.

Jerry spent much of his life as an owner-operator in the trucking industry.  He traveled millions of miles across the United States. Some of his hobbies included camping, boating in local rivers, and at the Lake of the Ozarks. He especially enjoyed spending time boating and grilling with his family and friends.

Jerry’s grandchildren were the light of his life and he loved to to spend time with them. Once he retired in 2012, he and Kathy bought a 40 acre farm in Rich Hill, Missouri to be closer to them. This farm was his “Oasis” and he never wanted to leave. His “livestock” consisted of his two dogs, Pepper and Killer, who he spoiled daily. Jerry felt blessed to spend his final days in the one place that he loved the most, surrounded by the people he loved the most.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ruby Admire Woolsey,  daughter Jesica Lynne Woolsey, sister in-law Karen Crisp Brown, and brother in-law Larry Auberry.

Survivors include his wife Kathy Woolsey, daughter Amanda Poulter and husband Mason, grandson Chance Poulter of Rich Hill, MO; granddaughter Katelynne Woolsey, fiancé Logan Brewer and great granddaughter Wrenlee Shannon Brewer of Joplin, MO; sisters Linda Doublin and husband Paul, Janet Auberry, Jacque Walters and husband Jimmy, all of Lebanon, MO, Jody Weddle and husband John of Grovespring, MO, one brother Jeff Woolsey and his wife Bobbi of Lebanon, MO; sister in-law Linda Long and husband Jim of Phillipsburg, MO, brother in-law Johnny Crisp of Lebanon, MO, many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of family member and friends.
